Which do you like more?
I was setting up for corporate headshots and Hunter let me take a bunch of shots of him. It was fun and allowed me to test and refine the 3-light set-up. Hunter usually won't let me take photos of him so this was special.
Next day, Reed acceded to the same request.
Got me to thinking...that the more interesting photo is not the eyes at the camera smile but something more open to interpretation.
Thanks for the lesson, guys!

Driveway Sledding
So it snowed overnight on my birthday (11/8). Got out to shovel and since there was a delayed opening, the boys came outside and I left a strip of packed snow for them to toboggan on.
I think I was late for work that morning. Good thing.

Last Day for Babysitter Melanie (Zoey shows up!)
So it was Melanie's last day with us (back in September) and I had no photos of her --or of previous sitters for that matter. Got her and the boys in the back yard, slapped a 105mm lens on my Nikon D4 and took a handful of photos. Reed's friend Zoey was over and she didn't like Hunter's glum expression so she got into the act too.
